Build a new 4.4km 11kV Over Headline called Postmasburg-Newton.
This project is an electrification infrastructure project to unlock capacity in Riemvasmaak (Mountain View) residential area. Riemvasmaak (Mountain View) is situated in the Postmasburg area, Tsantsabane Local Municipality in the Norther Cape Province. According to the Integrated Development Plan of Siyanda District Municipality, there is a need for electricity for 2800 stands in the Mountain View residential area. The project is identified as one of the high priority needs of the community and is deemed as an integral part of the development strategy for this area, which is aimed at improving the general standard of living.
