Proposal Description
Ivanplats Platreef Mine to mine Platinum and other Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) near Mokopane in the Province of Limpopo which is currently in its construction phase.
Platreef Mine intends to develop and utilise the following additional mining related infrastructure as part of the operation:
• New Dry Stack Tailings Storage Facility (New Site 1 DS-TSF).
• Conversion of authorised Rietfontein Wet TSF to a DS-TSF.
• Two additional ventilation shafts (Vent Shaft 6 and 7).
