EXHUMATION AND RE-INTERNMENT OF THE REMAINS OF MAPITSO EMILY & MATSEKO JULIA MAKHALANYANE IN TERMS OF SECTION 36(3) OF THE NATIONAL HERITAGE RESOURCES ACT (NHRA 25 of 1999).

The remains of Mapitso Emily Makhalanyane were buried in 1963 and the remains of Matseko Julia Makhalanyane were buried in 1961. Both graves are currently buried at Mine View Vierfontein in the Free State Province. The family have requested for the remains to be exhumed for reburial near the family in Klerksdorp, Northwest Province. Emkay Funeral Solutions have been appointed to conduct the exhumation and reburial.
