Please be advised as follows: -
- The heritage practitioner is required to take photos of all the elevations or sides of the house, since we must be able to value the building, for grading purposes.
- Photos of all the sides or elevations of both out buildings must be uploaded.
- The analysing category of analyses is the erf and all built environment on this erf needs to be evaluated, upload to the SAHRIS-system.
- A full set of plans for the house must also be uploaded, coloured and numbered: elevations, floor plan, door and window schedules as well as the elevation. This is a standard enquiry, the erf is the category of enquiry and all work and built environment on the erf must be analysed.
Written responses/requests for review of the decision taken must be received via email to [email protected] within 30 days of the date of this letter or any decision contained herein will be considered final.
Extensions of 30 days may be requested; if additional information is needed or revised drawings, these documents must be submitted within 6 months of the date of this letter or the application will lapse and a new application and fee to be paid, is necessary.
If public participation is necessary, the applicant will be notified of the level of public participation necessary: For development and demolition applications the neighbours, ward councillor and heritage societies must be contacted. Owners and residents within 100m must be consulted for demolition applications. All documents submitted is retained for record purposes and interested and affected parties may apply to view the applications.
