Proposal Description
The applicant, Impower Langside 10MW Wheeling Project (Pty) Ltd is proposing the construction and operation of a 30 Megawatt (MW) Solar Photovoltaic (PV) facility and associated infrastructure on Portion 7 of Farm 198 Langside near Komani in the Eastern Cape Province. The associated infrastructure includes:
- Laydown Area;
- Access and Internal Road Network;
- Auxiliary Buildings;
- IPP Substation;
- Eskom Substation
-Loop in Loop out powerline
- Inverter Stations, transformers and internal electrical reticulation
- Perimeter Fencing and Security Infrastructure; and
- Battery Energy Storage System.
