Inala Supply Chain Management proposes to undertake a mining of Coal in a 5 hactares of the farm Hartbeesthoek 393 JS portion of portion 1 for a period of 2 years in Middelburg within Steve Tshwete Local Municipality in Mpumalanga Province. The applied area is approximately 35km northeast of Middelburg.
The commodity will be mined by an open cast mining method. This method consists of blasting of the mineral followed by excavation of the loosened mineral by excavators, loading of it onto tipper trucks which then transported to the ROM stockpile and mobile plant area within the mining area where it is crushed into desirable sizes.
