Proposal Description
Exigent Engineering Consultants (hereinafter referred to as Exigent) has been appointed by Schoongezicht Thermal Power Plant (Pty) Ltd to undertake the EIA proses in order to determine the biophysical, social and economic impacts associated with the construction and operation of a Gas Thermal Power Plant on 22.4ha of Portion 4 of Farm RONDAVEL ALIAS SCHOONGEZICHT 109 JR (314.5699ha in total) located within the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality in Gauteng Province). The maximum export capacity at the delivery point will be 800 MW. The TPP will connect to the Sasol Springs, Pretoria/Rosslyn-Babelegi pipeline (RBP) pipeline that is located within the servitude K 6236/2002-5 that is located adjacent to the TPP site, Portion 4 of Farm Rondavel Alias Schoongezicht 109 JR.
