Installation of a water pipeline between Gemsbokspruit Reservoir and Tweefontein D Reservoir, Tweefontein, Thembisile Hani Local Municipality

The Thembisile Hani Local Municipality plans to install a new water pipeline between Gemsbokspruit Reservoir and Tweefontein D Reservoir to allow for the transfer of approximately 312.5 3m/h of water between the two reservoirs. The pipeline will be ±9.6 km long and 355 mm in diameter with a design flow of 87 l/s. The pipeline will be located mostly within road reserves and will extend along the edges of the residential areas of Tweefontein D, Tweefontein A, Tweefontein IA and Vlaklaagte CC. The water pipeline will extend across the RE of Tweefontein 675 JR, RE/54 of Tweefontein 220 JR, RE/7 of Gemsbokspruit 229 JR and possibly RE/1 of Vlaklaagte 221 JR, Tweefontein, Mpumalanga.
