Proposal Description
Proposed construction of a new wastewater treatment facility with a daily throughput capacity of 7Ml per day on an area with an extent of approximately 3.5 hectares on the Farm Mooifontein No. 669 within the municipal jurisdiction. The facility will connect to the existing WWTW with an underground connector and the total capacity would be 8Ml/day with a total development footprint of approximately 10 hectares. The new facility includes a channel to discharge the treated effluent to the neighbouring watercourse, Sandspruit.
