Please be advised as follows: -

1. For any addition or alteration of a building more than 60 years, a permit application is necessary and it was noted that the original roof over the courtyard was illegally demolished. For this reason the owner must submit:

   a) Form I to rectify illegal work and pay R10 000.

   2. The owner must submit separate plans for the houses on the property as it is at present with the illegally demolished courtyard roof. The KZN Amafa & Research Institute already received the plans for the new or proposed work and you already paid the administration fee for the new work, which is R800. However, we still need the plans reflecting the illegal work that was done.

Written responses/requests for review of the decision taken must be received via email to [email protected] within 30 days of the date of this letter or any decision contained herein will be considered final.
