Environmental Impact Assessment for the Amandelbult Solar PV Facility at the Rustenburg Platinum Mines Amandelbult Mine Complex located in the Thabazimbi Local Municipality and the Waterberg District Municipality in the Limpopo Province

SLR Consulting (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd (SLR) is appointed by Amandelbult Solar PV (Pty) Ltd for the Environmental Authorisation Process for the development of a solar photovoltaic (PV) facility and associated infrastructure within the Amandelbult Complex in the Limpopo Province. The Amandelbult Complex, owned by Rustenburg Platinum Mines Limited (RPM) a wholly owned subsidiary of Anglo American Platinum (AAP) proposes to develop a 150 megawatt (MW) solar PV facility and associated infrastructure on an approximately 226 hectare (ha) parcel of land at the Amandelbult Complex (the Project). AAP will be the off taker of the renewable energy generated by the Project.
