Establishment of a Sports Complex and associated infrastructure at Mmalepetleke Village

The project consists of the proposed establishment of a sports complex and associated infrastructure on a part of the Remainder of the Farm Rietfontein 240 KR at Mmalepetleke Village, approx. 15km north-west of Mokopane, Mogalakwena Local Municipality, Limpopo Province.

The proposed area of the sports facility measures approx. 4,5 hectares in size. The facility is planned to consist of a Soccer/athletic field, 1500-seater stand, Combi courts (which can be used for sports like netball, basketball and volleyball), ablution facilities and change rooms. Access will be from a new access road connecting the site with road D3500 (Mapela Road). It is proposed that water will be obtained from borehole(s) and sewerage will be handled by means of a sealed conservancy tank system, which will be pumped out by honeysucker for disposal at the municipal wastewater treatment works.
