Basic Assessment - Uitsig Boerdery Citrus: Proposed Agricultural Expansion on a portion of Portion 2 of Farm 683, Sundays River Valley Municipality

Proposed the clearance of 18.5 (ha) of indigenous vegetation for the establishment of additional citrus orchards and associated infrastructure (internal roads, irrigation pipelines). Irrigation water for the development is proposed to be supplied from the LSRWUA canal system by connecting into an existing dam, owned by the same project applicant and using existing water use rights. The proposed development will take place on a portion of Portion 2 of Farm 683, Sundays River Valley Municipality, Eastern Cape.
