Please be advised as follows: -
1. The client must appoint a specialist with the right skills and experience to supervise the already employed contractor/s and staff working on this project.
2. A record of heritage work done by the specialist or a record of his/her work; and his/her CV must be requested to ensure the right person is employed.
3. All work, still to be done, must be treated with sensibility.
4. Since it is difficult, or perhaps impossible to change contractual agreements of
contractors/workers already employed, the specialist, which PRASA must employ, will act as the supervisor of the already employed contractor/s and they will then be in a good position to learn new skills regarding methods and material to be used as well as setting out work phases per time schedule as part of the project's management plan.
5. The specialist employed must prescribe weekly meetings and site visitations of both Bellair and Escombe Stations.
6. "Interim and close-out reports on the work done at the stations must be submitted to the Amafa Institute for review. These reports are essential to ensure that the work aligns with the heritage requirements and standards.
