Proposed Grid Connection Infrastructure for the Authorised Seelo Charlie Solar PV Facility near Carletonville, between Gauteng and North West Provinces

The Applicant, Seelo Charlie Solar PV (RF) (Pty) Ltd, proposes the development of the Seelo Charlie Grid Connection and Associated Infrastructure which will connect the authorised Charlie Solar PV Facility (DFFE Ref.: 14/12/16/3/3/2/2341) to the national grid. The proposed grid connection and associated infrastructure traverses two (02) Provinces, the Gauteng Province, and the North-West Province. The development is situated approximately 12 km west of the town of Carletonville situated between the Merafong City Local Municipality, West Rand District Municipality and in the JB Marks Local Municipality, Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality.
