Proposal Description
Impala Mining Holdings (Pty) Ltd applied for a prospecting right in terms of section 16 of the MPRDA to prospect for coal on the farms St George 4248 GT, Adelaide 9187 GT and Longlands 15523 GT. The farms covers an area of 1253 hectares, and are located in the magisterial district of Amajuba District Municipality in KZN Province.
The following prospecting methods will be employed during prospecting activities:
1.Desktop study.
2.Exploration geophysics (electromagnetic survey).
3. Drilling of 20 exploration boreholes (Diamond core drill).
