Proposal Description
Boshoek Solar 2 (Pty) Ltd proposes the establishment of a solar photovoltaic (PV) facility, including associated infrastructure and a grid connection, near the town of Boshoek and Rustenburg, in the North West Province. The SEF will comprise several arrays of PV panels and will have a contracted capacity of up to 150 MW. The SEF and associated infrastructure will connect to the future planned collector / switching station located ~3 km north of the site on Remaining Extent of Farm Onderstepoort 98.
The SEF is located within the Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality and the Grid Connection route extends into the Rustenburg Local Municipality, both within the Bojanala District Municipality, North West Province.
