Hartebeest Hoek Solar PV1 (Pty) Ltd proposes the development of a 303 MW solar Photovoltaic facility which will consist of the installation of a large array of solar Photovoltaic panels, an Operational and Maintenance area (including buildings and control rooms), a fuel storage area, an on-site Independent Power Producer Substation, a laydown area for solar components, a Battery Energy Storage Area and medium voltage stations. The facility will be located near De Aar, Emthanjeni Local Municipality, Pixley Ka Seme District Municipality
