Gladysvale Cave (2)

Proposed palaeoanthropological fieldwork at Gladysvale Cave on the Greater Cradle Nature Reserve, Cradle of Humankind, Gauteng, South Africa. This permit application is an extension to the previous permit period, the principal investigators concentrated on the mapping and movement of large amounts of material from previous investigations and work conducted by Berger during the 1990’s, historical mining activities that left surface dumps overlaying the exterior deposits and material in the central dump in subsurface Chamber 2.
