RELOCATION OF APPROXIMATELY ELEVEN (11) GRAVES FROM ERVEN 1, 2, 3 AND 4 IN THE MAHWELERENG IA TOWNSHIP ON A PORTION OF THE REMAINING EXTENT OF THE FARM MACALACASKOP 243 KR, WITHIN THE MOGALAKWENA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY AND THE WATERBERG DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY,

PGS Heritage has been appointed by GMI Property Group (Pty) Ltd, to affect the relocation of graves located on Erven 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the Mahwelereng IA Township on a Portion of the Remaining Extent of the Farm Macalacaskop 243 KR, within the Mogalakwena Local Municipality and the Waterberg District Municipality, in the Limpopo Province. This application deals with approximately eleven (11) graves which will be affected by the expansion of the Mahwelereng Mall within the Mahwelereng project area. The graves are to be moved to existing formal cemeteries or informal traditional areas as selected by the next-of-kin. We will be assisted on this project by local service providers. The stakeholder engagement process, to identify the closest next of kin for the graves commenced on 25 June 2024.
