                                                                                                   REFERRAL LETTER

Please be advised as follows: -

  1. Send a photo of the front or street elevation, from inside the erf, not from the street with walls in front (all other sides of the building were uploaded except for a proper photo of the front elevation or street side of the house);
  2. Send proof of public participation via registered letters to all residents in a 100m radius: to do this superimpose a KLM file on the street address and apply a 100m radius to indicate which addresses are included. At present there are only examples of the poster notice on the walls of proposed demolition;
  3. The value of the building is al least IIIC and the style is known as the Berea Style, it does have conservation worthy features, accordingly, the applicant needs to upload the plans for the newly proposed development to show that it will fit into the streetscape of styles in the Union Period timeframe. A full sent of plans are needed, numbered and coloured, including elevations, the site plan, window and door schedules and the floor plans.

Written responses/requests for review of the decision taken must be received via email to  [email protected]within 30 days of the date of this letter or any decision contained herein will be considered final.
