REFERRAL LETTER
Please be advised as follows: -
- This application includes both a request to condone illegal work as well as a request for proposed work, namely a boundary wall. The proposed work must be on a separate application which must be made on Form A.
- In the application dealing with illegal work, there is no reference to the verandah at the back that was enclosed as well as windows that were changed to aluminium. Accordingly, it was incorrect to state that the only illegal work was the carport. Please revise Application Form I dealing with illegal work and submit separate plans for illegal work that must be condoned; and the plan for new, proposed work. Only after we have dealt with illegal work (Form I), can we deal with proposed work (Form A).
- Only R800 was paid, instead of R10 000 which is the fee for rectification of illegal work. R800 is the admin fee for new or proposed work. Pay R10 000 as soon as possible and upload the proof of payment with your revised Form I, to include all illegal work identified.
Written responses/requests for review of the decision taken must be received via email to [email protected]within 30 days of the date of this letter or any decision contained herein will be considered final.
