Interim Comment

As per section 38(1), the applicant must furnish the responsible authority with details regarding the location, nature and extent of the proposed development. The SAHRA Archaeology, Development Applications Unit cannot make an informed decision on this proposed development because the information provided to this case is not enough to determine if any heritage resources will be disturbed or damaged by the proposed power line construction.
In order to provide a decision in terms of section 38(2) a or ,b a detailed project description of the Nature and extent of the development must be submitted, including ground level photographs and the Distribution Environmental Screening Document (DESD).
