Object Description

The Parliament Collection:
The female figure of peace is standing at a table with six figures around her, offering her food and drink. They include Germany, Russia and England. The table is laden with more food and drink, and the words Il banchetto della pace is written on the table cloth. Underneath the table two figures peer out holding a knife and fork. The one is a South African Boer, and the other probably a Turk.
