    An early version of Cape Town's minstrel carnival, in procession through the streets of the Bo-Kaap. Some carry banners and others are playing instruments. In the foreground is a Muslim gentleman seen from behind, wearing a long yellow cloak and an orange turban, with a closed umbrella in his right hand.
