REFERRAL LETTER/RESPONSE LETTER

Please be advised as follows:
- The committee noted that some work had already been undertaken, namely the conversion of a window to a door on the front veranda, and concern was expressed that there may be further contraventions of the legislation on the property.
- It was also noted that the application was for extensive alterations inside the house, particularly to the floors and internal walls which could negatively impact the conservation of the building.
- It was agreed that the heritage resources on the property were worthy of conservation and had been highly rated in the Pietermaritzburg survey.
