Plate 1: A harbour scene with Table Mountain in the background, there are many ships in the harbour and there are people in row-boats 2: A tree lined street with a large house to the right of the image and to the left of the image is a horse-drawn carriage 3: Street scene, with buildings on both sides of the street. A mountain to the right of the image and a ox-wagon in the street 4: A fountain in the foreground and a large building in the background. There is also a statue in the garden 5: Street scene, Table Mountain in the background. Trees to the left of the image and many horse-drawn carriages on the street 6: Entrance to the castle, mountain to the right and three guards outside the castle wearing white hats 7: A church to the right of the image, two people standing to the left of the church door.
