Proposed Development of the 450MW Crassula Solar PV Energy Facility Located near Victoria West in the Northern Cape Province

The Applicant, Crassula Solar PV (RF) (Pty) Ltd, proposes the development of a solar photovoltaic (PV) facility and associated infrastructure to be known as Crassula Solar PV Facility. The solar PV facility with a planned generating capacity of up to 450MW will be located on a site ~24km south east of Victoria West in the Northern Cape Province.

The electrical grid infrastructure (EGI) required to connect the project to the national grid via an overhead power line to the existing Eskom Gamma Substation will form part of a separate application for Environmental Authorisation.
