Proposal Description
The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) propose to construct and operate a new eco-park on Erf 482 Plessis-Laer within Ward 23 of the Msunduzi Local Municipality that forms part of the uMgungundlovu District Municipality and KwaZulu-Natal province. The proposed Eco-Park is envisioned as a multi-functional and multi-disciplinary space, primarily comprising two key components, Biomass Recycling Plant and Durban University of Technology (DUT) Innovation Hub.
