Proposed Exhumation, Relocation and Reburial of Human Remains Of Three Graves Within SA Lithium Mining Area, Port Shepstone, Ugu District Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal.

The application is exhumation, transportation and reburial of three Mzizi family graves located within the active mining area. The remains will be reburied at Mzizi Family Homestead in KwaNdaba Village. The Mzizi Family assisted in the identification and voluntarily requested the mine to relocate the graves. The family does not stay in the affected villages, but they relocated and left their family graves during the apartheid era.
