An imposing woman, possibly royalty, in traditional African dress and decorations, standing in the middle with a man (possibly her servant), a teenage daughter and a young boy around her. She wears a very decorative headdress, heavy beadwork around her neck and shoulders, and she holds a ceremonial staff. (Part of a portfolio, see 42697)
