To the Right Honourable Edward Boscawan, Earl of Falmouth etc, etc. This Engraving representing the loss of the Hope Steam Ship on the South Eastern coast of Africa c Baddeley Comm [last two words barely legible] in Latitude 34. 8.0 S. Long. 24. 36' 30" E. is with permission most respectfully dedicated to His Lordship, by His Lordship's most obliged humble servant, Henry Adams Kerry Whitaker. 2.
