Woodridge School Sports Field

Habitat Link Consulting (Pty) Ltd has been appointed by Woodridge Trust T/A Woodridge College and Preparatory School to apply for an Environmental Authorisation (EA) for the proposed construction of a sports field on Farm No. 628. The subject property is located near the national road R102, Van Stadens, within the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality of the Eastern Cape province. It is our understanding that the proponent intends to construct a sports field that will potentially require the clearance of more than 1 ha (hectare) of indigenous vegetation. There will be no hard structures (e.g. flood lights, stands, sports equipment or locker rooms) built on the proposed site. While the property of the school is 143.74 ha, the field itself will be approximately 0.8 ha in size
