Proposal Description
Lebalelo Water User Association (LWUA) plans to construct a new 10Mℓ reservoir adjacent to the existing reservoirs at its Borwa Pump Station and a new pipeline between the New Borwa Reservoir and the existing SE1 pipeline (~600m), to provide water to Mototolo Mine. In addition, LWUA plans to rehabilitate a donga area near the current, existing Borwa Reservoir, by infilling the area with excavated material from construction activities at the New Borwa Reservoir area. The proposed project is located on portion 7 of the farm Thorncliffe 374 KT, located near the town of Steelpoort in the Limpopo Province.
