    The Parliament Collection:
    Front: Landscape in watercolour with three figures with sketchpads in foreground, drawn in pencil. This depicts Bowler's sketching class at work in the partly dry riverbed, with the Paarl mountains in the distance. Two unrelated male figures in the sky - one in pencil, one in watercolour. Reverse: A largely unfinished water-colour sketch of Cape mountains. Background mountains started in watercolour, foreground sketchy outlines only, with some annotations.
