Proposal Description
The existing structure will be retained while the proposed works adapt to the evolving demands of the area.
However, to meet the client’s requirements for expanded office space, the single-story dwelling will be
transformed into a double-story structure. This vertical extension will allow for increased functionality while
ensuring the building aligns with the surrounding precedent developments. The design approach prioritizes
maintaining the architectural integrity of the existing structure while introducing modern enhancements that
support its new business office use.
Any salvageable materials from the existing structure, particularly the original roof tiles, will be donated to
the AMAFA Repository. If AMAFA expresses interest in these materials, they will be transported at the
owner’s expense.
The proposed additions and alterations have been thoughtfully designed to integrate seamlessly with
the surrounding urban fabric demands for the proposed new office facility. The existing architectural style
will remain and compliment some of the dwellings in the existing environment.
