Ground Penetrating Radar Services (GPR) at Kroondal Mine in the North West Province

Digby Wells Environmental (Digby Wells) has been appointed by Glencore Operations South Africa (Pty) Ltd (Glencore) to investigate the presence of an alleged burial site at the Kroondal mine using non-intrusive methods. Digby Wells intends on conducting Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Services in the Project area. A heritage specialist undertook a Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) and did not identify any graves, however this could have been due to limitations and Glencore intends on investigating the presence or absence of the alleged graves in Kroondal mine in the North West Province.
