PROPOSED CRAIGAVON PHASE 3 SEWER PIPE REPLACEMENT PROJECT WITHIN THE CITY OF JOHANNESBURG, GAUTENG PROVINCE

The proposed project entails the upgrade of the approximately 2168.8m of 700Ø steel pipe in the Craigavon area. Phase 3 of the Craigavon (Campbell Road) Sewer Rising Main project involves constructing the sewer rising main infrastructure, including excavation, pipe laying, and connections. The project will use various construction methods, install pipe materials and covers, and connect pipes to existing networks.
The scope of work includes the construction of the sewer rising main infrastructure, including the excavation, laying, and connection of pipes. The phase will involve the use of various construction methods, including open trench pipe laying, pipe jacking, and horizontal directional drilling. The project will require the installation of pipe materials, HDPE pipes, and the connection of pipes to existing networks.
