Invitation with the words from the Rhodes National South African Memorial Committee at the dedication ceremony at Groote Schuur on Friday 5th July 1912. The words appear as engraved onto a base of stone screen with a view through the columns to the Rhodes Memorial engraved and printed in brown ink.Invitation to attend the ceremony of the dedication of the National Memorial at Groote Schuur, by the Rt. Hon. Earl Grey, G.C.B., G.C.M.G., G.C.V.O., on Friday, 5th July, 1912, extended to Stephen Cavanagh Esq. and Mrs. J. Cavanagh.
