THORNHILL-ZWEMKLOOF DIMENSION STONE PROJECT

Kelgran Africa SA (Pty) Ltd (Kelgran) is the holder of a Prospecting Right for gabbro-norite (dimension stone) (DMRE REF: LP30/5/1/1/2/10968PR) on the farms Thornhill 544 KS and Zwemkloof 283 KT situated in the Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality, Sekhukhune District, Limpopo Province. Kelgran intends to apply for a Mining Right for the same in terms of the provisions of Section 23 (a), (b) and (c) and in terms of Regulation 11 (1) (g) of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act 28 of 2002 (MPRDA). The proposed Mining Right application (MRA) area on the farms Thornhill 544 KS and Zwemkloof 283 KT is 2 347.9812 ha in extent, whilst the proposed mining and infrastructure footprint is approximately 520 ha. The project planned is a dimension stone mine and is referred to as the Thornhill-Zwemkloof Dimension Stone Project.
