Object Description
The Parliament Collection:
19 pencil drawings and 2 water-colours on 11 leaves, various sizes. With the exception of a sketch of a valley stream at Algoa Bay, the pencil drawings are of indigenous peoples and their huts. The water-colours are entitled "The tent at Cape Recife, September 13th, 1843", and "Near Grahams Town, September 5th, 1845" (the last shows beehive huts and seems unfinished)
