Object Description

The device was used by gynaecologists and urologists from as early as the 1890s all the way into the mid 20th century. It would have been inserted through the urethra enabling the doctor to view all the way into the bladder. Material: Metal (nickel-plated), wood, rubber. Colour: Silver, brown, black & red.
