A mucus extractor (2 parts) is a device for asiration of mucus congesting the upper airways of the newborn or for suctioning tracheal/bronchial secretions (of newborns, children & adults) which will be analysed in a laboratory.
Mucus extractor includes:
- 1 container (capacity 25 ml), with graduations from 0 to 25 ml for all models,
- 1 PVC extension tube 23 cm long with connector for finger-tip suction control, to connect the device to the suction source (mechanical/wall suction),
- 1 separate lid for safe sealing and transport of the aspirate,
- 1 label, c. 1930.
