Object Description

Instrument designed to hold engorged tonsils during tonsillectomy. Tool is made of silver finished brass with turned circular ribbed ebony wood pad and larger gutta-percha hard rubber pad. Adjustible wing nut and a sliding adjustment for settings, c. 1925.
