Proposal Description
The Tsantsabane Local Municipality proposes the construction of a 13ML/day Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW) on Portion 2 of the Farm Olyn Fontein 475, Hay District and outfall sewer pipeline for Postmasburg.
The proposed WWTW site is approximately 2ha in area and is located approximately 3km south-west of Postmasburg, adjacent to the Groenwater Spruit.
The sewer pipeline is planned between the town of Postmasburg and the new WWTW site The proposed pipeline is approximately 2.9km in length and ΓΈ 900mm and will cross watercourses / tributaries of the Groenwater Spruit.
The project is required to increase service infrastructure for the town of Postmasburg, Northern Cape Province.
