Comment

The SAHRA Development Applications Unit (DAU) requires the amendments of the grave register and motivation report to clarify these inconsistencies.

• The motivation report must contain a summary of the new social consultation process that assisted with the Legari and Malose Mello case and complaint on the applicants side;
• The motivation report should state clearly how many graves are being applied for;
• Where there are new claimants in the provided affidavits for graves older than 60 years, then this must be detailed in the motivation report;
• The grave register should contain only the graves that are applied for within this permit application.
• The claimant affidavits should correspond with the grave register.
