Renosterkop Omdraai 22kV

Due to the farming activity around the Augrabies area there has been a need to build a new line from Renosterkop substation to the point of supply. Eskom proposes to build an approximately 2.9km 22kV powerline in the road reserve to the point of supply. Approval was gained from the Department of Roads and Public works to build in the road reserve, this is due to lack of space for the powerline in any other areas due to farming.
