Site coincides with a plaque describing the geology and formation of the gorge. Plaque is located behind a car park north of the arch on which the old Anglo-Boer War fort stands. Spectacularly folded quartzitic sandstones of the Table Mountain Group can be seen throughout the 5 km-long gorge.
