Solms-Delta is positioned between the confluence of the Dwars and the Berg rivers and surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. The historic homestead and wider farm werf on which it is situated is part of an authentic agricultural landscape that still continues to be run as a working wine estate with the majority of its workers still living on the farm. Significant heritage features include a historic wine cellar and stables, the ruins of a 17th century homestead, a Later Stone Age settlement site and a historic well. The property also includes noteworthy landscape and natural features such as a National Champion Tree, a historic riverside arboretum, a historic bamboo plantation and a fynbos reserve.
