75 Mostert Melkbosstrand Q14 rib sample

Mostert 75, Q14:
An older female, excavated from a more organic context, which may explain the rather poor condition of the bones. She appears to have been aged 40 to 60 years when she died. The sample is a seventh right rib, chosen because of the mid-sternal ribs the tissue appears to be in the best condition.
